Aerospace Inventory Analyst
Pay $25-30 an hour

Inventory Analyst – (stock audit and confirmation)
Location: Van Horn TX

Overview
As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for supporting
the integration of various launch vehicle subassemblies. As an Inventory Analyst, you will identify
engineering intent from drawings, and confirm configurations of inventory items and acceptance for
use. The role is multifunctional with knowledge needed in inventory management and coordination
techniques for mechanical hardware, visual inspection, product identification, quality confirmation,
preservation, packaging and certificate of conformance documentation.
As an integral member of the team you will use work instructions to drive inventory pull-and-check
processes, document observations for each inventory item, relay abnormalities and non-conformities to
associated project engineering team, and in general serve as a direct feedback loop between project
managers, engineers, and other Inventory Analysts working in parallel.
This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated
commitment, adaptability, persistence, resourcefulness, engagement with team members, critical
thinking skills, detailed attention towards safe and repeatable human spaceflight.

Duration:
2 Months
Shift Schedule:
Mon – Friday 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $25-30/hr

Responsibilities:
? Meet daily as required with analyst team, project managers, and project engineers to set
directions for work in the inventory area.
? Pull each stock item either off the shelf, into the aisle, relocate to designated inspection areas or
as otherwise instructed and make parts ready to inspect by removal or access through
packaging.
? Confirm the content and condition of stock item to accommodate a better knowledge of
usable inventory and identify and segregate unusable inventory.
? Record the condition, count and any other observations associated with discreet inventory
locations and the stock items therein in the provided tally mechanism.
? Replace stock items, organize and identify completed, accepted for use conditions.
? Interact with program managers and/or project engineers as required to remedy unknown
conditions.
? Watch for opportunities to streamline the work being done to make things better, faster,
cheaper and work within the team to drive improvements.

Required
? Minimum of high school diploma or GED
? 6 months- 1 year of college or vocational coursework toward a technical degree
? Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
? Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and
carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
? Willingness to utilize powered lifting or transporting equipment
? Must be open to working all required shift hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed
? Must be a U.S. citizen
Desired (Would like to see 1 or more of the desired qualities below)
? Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
? Knowledge and experience reading basic engineering drawings and related documents
? Experience with inventory control methods, packaging, preservation, identification,
transportation, inspection, counting, bins, pallets,
