PEB Construction Project Manager
JOB TITLE: Commercial Sheet Metal Superintendent (Roofing, Siding, Trim, Insulation, etc.)
LOCATION: Norwood, OH and other locations including Parkersburg, WV
SCHEDULE: day shift (7 AM – 5:30 PM) 4x10s or more depending on current projects (currently 5x10s) – schedule subject to change
START DATE: 12/5/22 or ASAP
PAY: $37-43/hr plus truck, gas card, phone, laptop and benefits
PER DIEM: $100 per diem (days worked, must live 65 miles or more from job site for per diem)

OVERVIEW
Looking for an experienced Commercial Sheet Metal Superintendent to run current and future sheet metal and pre-engineered work. 

EMPLOYEE TYPE: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Field Superintendent

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
– Maintain a safe work environment and culture
– Oversee multiple jobs simultaneously
– Supervise manpower and direct work
– Maintain accurate records of work progress, manpower time, costs, etc.
– Estimate and bid new projects (cost, materials, manpower needs, scheduling, etc.)
– Maintain constant communication with clients to ensure needs are met (in-person, phone, text, email, etc)
– Read and interpret blueprints (digital and print)
– Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
– Advanced knowledge of commercial sheet-metal construction including blueprints, roofing, siding, gutters, trim, insulation, PEB, etc.
– At least 8-10 years of Supervisor and/or Superintendent-level experience
– Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions as required by client and/or facility policy
– Valid Driver’s License
– Ability to pass e-verify, drug test, background check, and driving record check

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects.
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.
• Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
• Acceptable eyesight – naturally or with correction.
• Eye-hand coordination.
• Good physical fitness.
• Good sense of balance.
• Work at great heights is required.

ENVIRONMENT
Construction workers perform physically demanding work including lifting and carrying heavy objects, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling in awkward positions. Some work at great heights of up to 150’, or outdoors in all weather conditions. Some jobs expose workers to harmful materials or chemicals, fumes, odors, loud noise, or dangerous machinery. Some workers may be exposed to lead based paint, asbestos, or other hazardous substances during their work especially when working in confined spaces. To avoid injury, workers in these jobs wear safety clothing/personal protective equipment such as gloves, hard hats, protective chemical suits, and devices to protect their eyes, respiratory system, and hearing. While working in underground construction, construction workers must be especially alert to safely follow procedures and must deal with a variety of hazards.

WORK SCHEDULE
Varies by location. Must have open availability any time, any day of the week. Length of employment is limited to job assignment and/or project duration.

TOOL REQUIREMENTS (minimum)
• OSHA approved belted harness with double lanyards free of defects 30” or better • unmodified sleever bar
• Both crescent and fixed size spud wrenches (3/4 & 7/8)
• Belt worn bolt bags x 2
• Unmodified OSHA approved hammer 4LB or better
• Belt worn sever bar and spud wrench holder
• Standard crescent wrench 25’ or better tape measure
• lockable toolbox, and lock
• Personal PPE (Hardhat, steel toe boots, etc)
