Shift Availability

1st Shift

Monday – Friday
6:00 AM – 2:15 PM

2nd Shift

Monday – Friday
2:00 PM – 10:15 PM

3rd Shift

Sunday – Thursday
10:00 PM – 6:15 AM

Compensation

  • Starting Pay: $19.50 – $21.00 per hour

  • $2.00 per hour shift differential

  • $0.50 per hour weekly perfect attendance bonus


Position Summary

CraftForce is seeking dependable and mechanically inclined Final Assemblers to join a manufacturing team producing generator enclosure components and assemblies. This position requires the ability to read blueprints and shop drawings while assembling prefabricated components according to specifications and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, construction, automotive repair, carpentry, or other hands-on mechanical environments. Flexibility is essential, as employees may assist in other departments based on production schedules and shipping demands.

The Assembly Department also utilizes MIG welding as part of the manufacturing process. Associates perform both continuous and stitch welding on 8-gauge through 14-gauge galvanneal materials while building assigned assemblies from blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.

Employees must maintain high quality standards while ensuring assemblies are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assemble prefabricated components using blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.

  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete assembly operations.

  • Perform continuous and stitch MIG welds on 8-gauge through 14-gauge galvanneal material as required.

  • Interpret and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.

  • Read and accurately use a tape measure.

  • Install and assemble mechanical components according to specifications.

  • Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.

  • Assist other departments as production and shipping needs require.

  • Operate safely around cranes and material handling equipment.

  • Work from ladders during various stages of assembly.

  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.

  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, construction, assembly, or industrial experience.

  • Basic carpentry skills.

  • Automotive mechanical experience is helpful.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.

  • Basic understanding of plumbing systems.

  • Knowledge of NPT and JIC fittings preferred.

  • Experience using hand and power tools.

  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift.

  • Ability to climb ladders as needed.

  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and components.

  • Ability to work around overhead cranes and moving equipment.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing and assembly facility environment.

  • Exposure to noise, dust, welding operations, and moving equipment.

  • Frequent use of hand and power tools.

  • Overtime and weekend work may be required to support production demands.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.

  • Technical training, vocational education, or related experience is a plus.
