POSITION TITLE: Site Superintendent (Construction)

Pay: $70,000-$90,000

HOURS: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM 

LOCATION: Tri-State Area

Position Summary

A construction superintendent oversees the operations of a construction site, from planning to completion. The duties of a construction superintendent will vary; however, they can expect to be responsible for daily scheduling, supervising all activities and tasks, and ensuring the safety and compliance on the site.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Manager in planning, scheduling, organizing, directing and controlling all construction activities from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.

  • Oversee day-to-day field activities.

  • Perform daily quality control inspections.

  • Coordinate all construction services and activities.

  • Coordinate all deliveries of materials/equipment and staging of materials. 

  • Schedule all required inspections and tests.

  • Responsible for all project safety inspections and reports.  

  • Conduct on-site safety meetings and pre-conferences as necessary.

  • Conduct safety inspections and evaluation of work methods to mandate safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately.

  • Maintain clean and safe worksite.

  • Must have OSHA 30 Certification.

  • Maintain a daily job site log and issue weekly reports.

  • Submit coded time sheets for all site employees.

  • Maintain project schedule, review, and issue weekly indicating variances to Project Manager.

  • Manage project completion and sign-off of the punch list.

  • Be proficient in ProCore and Word

**Dental and Vision will be effective on the first of the following month**

  • 401k Plan –  3% of salary company contribution

  • Paid holidays – New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, 

    Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

  • Paid Time Off – 15 days per year for vacation and sick time.

  • Truck allowance – $500/month
