Per Diem: $150/day (paid 7 days per week for qualifying traveling employees)

What You'll Do
- Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools including lathes, milling machines, grinders, shapers, and machining centers.
- Analyze machining requirements and manufacture complex precision components.
- Machine parts to exact specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Perform layouts, fabrication, and assembly work as required.
- Support preventative, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
- Perform equipment inspections and quality checks.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and identify process improvements.
- Assist in reducing manufacturing constraints and improving productivity.
- Schedule maintenance activities around production requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all documented quality procedures and manufacturing specifications.
- Provide feedback for preventive maintenance improvements.
- Coach and mentor less experienced machinists when needed.
- Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
- Perform additional duties to support manufacturing objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of machining experience preferred.
- Experience operating CNC and conventional machine tools.
- Strong knowledge of lathes, mills, grinders, and machining equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools.
- Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of industrial safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
