Starting Pay: $35.00/hour and Up depending on experience
Per Diem: $150/day (paid 7 days per week for qualifying traveling employees)
We’re hiring an experienced Skilled Technician – Level IV to support advanced manufacturing operations in Asheville, North Carolina.
This role is designed for highly skilled industrial technicians who enjoy solving complex equipment issues, leading maintenance activities, coaching teammates, and driving continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.
What You’ll Do
- Perform advanced mechanical and manufacturing support activities.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, manuals, and specifications.
- Utilize specialty tools, precision measuring instruments, and testing equipment.
- Lead maintenance projects and coordinate work activities with production teams.
- Identify manufacturing constraints and implement process improvements.
- Support equipment failure analysis and root cause investigations.
- Update maintenance documentation and quality procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and equipment cleanliness.
- Coach and mentor maintenance personnel and technicians.
- Participate in TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties supporting plant operations and manufacturing goals.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with industrial machinery, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and maintenance documentation.
- Experience leading projects or mentoring other technicians preferred.
