CraftForce is now hiring experienced Spray Arc Transfer Welders for a local manufacturing opportunity in Covington, KY. This is a great fit for welders who are comfortable in a production welding environment and want steady hours, bonus opportunities, and room to grow.

Shifts Available

Day Shift
Monday – Thursday
6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Possible overtime available
Pay: $19.50+ per hour, based on experience and weld test

Night Shift
Sunday – Thursday
7:30 PM – 6:00 AM
Overtime available
Pay: $20.80+ per hour, based on experience and weld test

Position Summary

This position involves production-style MIG welding using spray arc transfer. Spray arc runs hotter and faster than standard MIG welding, but experienced welders typically adapt quickly. Welders will perform layout, fitting, and welding of mild steel components while following blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.

A weld test is required before placement.

Job Duties

• Perform MIG welding using spray arc transfer.

• Complete layout and fitting of mild steel components.

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and tape measures.

• Use basic hand tools safely and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate measurements and quality welds.

• Follow written and verbal instructions.

• Inspect work to ensure it meets production and quality standards.

• Lift and maneuver materials up to 50 pounds.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• Previous MIG welding experience.

• Layout and fitting experience preferred.

• Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints.

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.

• Ability to pass a weld test.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
