CraftForce is recruiting for a Direct Hire Skilled Maintenance Technician III to join a leading manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industrial maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment and solving challenging mechanical and electrical issues in a fast-paced production environment.

Monday – Friday
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

  • 40-hour work week

  • Base Pay: Starting at $36.00 per hour

  • 8% Shift Premium, $38.88 total hourly pay

  • Overtime opportunities may be available

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong troubleshooting abilities and experience diagnosing complex manufacturing equipment.

This is not a facilities maintenance or preventative maintenance position. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on identifying root causes, repairing equipment failures, and restoring production equipment quickly and safely.

Successful candidates are hands-on problem solvers who can work independently while supporting production in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

  • Diagnose machine failures and identify root causes to minimize downtime.

  • Repair or replace defective components using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.

  • Inspect, operate, and test machinery to verify proper operation.

  • Assemble, install, and repair machinery, electrical components, wiring, piping, and related equipment.

  • Perform preventative maintenance activities as scheduled.

  • Dismantle equipment to access and replace worn or damaged components.

  • Inspect motors, drives, belts, bearings, gears, and related mechanical systems.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation.

  • Work safely while supporting continuous manufacturing operations.

  • Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 5–7 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience diagnosing automated manufacturing equipment.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience troubleshooting industrial production equipment in manufacturing environments are highly encouraged to apply.

Experience with the following is beneficial:
