Starting salary up to $45,200/year depending on experience.

Assists Engineers in carrying out production-related and inspection jobs; assists in monitor materials quality in processing plants and making the required adjustments; maintains and supports documentation and records. Works under moderate supervision.
* Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects.
* Conducts simple tests (for example on electrical function, reliability, packaging quality).
* Records results and prepares simple technical reports.
* Provides product and component testing using a range of measurement equipment.
* Assists customers in understanding/interpreting product specifications and application of measurement data.
* Participates in measurement uncertainty studies for measurements associated with measurement or calibration results.
* Ensures proper maintenance and calibration of the measurement and test equipment.

* Quality Process Management – Applies and manages methods (e.g. SPC, Capability studies, Layered Process Audit, inspection, test) to ensure quality of the clients products, processes, and services.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
* High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
* This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:
* Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
* Assists NBS Quality engineer with validation of the new engine assembly line (FLV) using standard quality tools and releasing quality documentation.
* Examples of quality documentation include Control Plans, Manufacturing Quality Verification (MQV), and PFMEA's.
* Examples of quality tools include Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) and statistical analysis
* Ensures product and process development meet quality standards.
* Participates in cross-functional meetings.
* Supports the Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP) for the new line.

We are looking for a talented Quality Technician Level 3 to join our team specializing in quality for our engine business segment in Rocky Mount, NC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Responsible of conducting internal audits (QMS, Mfg Process Audits, Product Audits) in an organization. Plan and lead trainings, root cause analysis and resolution of non-conformances.
Demonstrate technical understanding of mfg processes, its risk analysis and control plans.
Also conduct other QMS related activities needed to perform QMS processes.
Maintain the knowledge of relevant requirements based on internal changes (process and product technologies) and external changes (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AIAG core tools, and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR)).
Able to perform audits with process based approach and risk based thinking. Gather and analyze information related to internal audit program and produce reports.
Provide help to lead Root Cause Analysis (3P5Y) for assigned Corrective Actions and train stakeholders if needed.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point & Excel
Attend and pass IATF 16949 Lead Auditor Training Class
Obtain ASQ CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) Certification
Facilitate IATF 16949 Overview Class
Complete Yellow Belt Training
Ability to record information accurately and concisely
