Job Title: Electrician – Residential Division
Location: Amelia, OH
Pay: $18-$25/hr
(Pay will be decided upon the level of ability and skill presented. )
Hours: M-F 7:00am-4:00pm, Overtime as required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Receives oral instructions from Field Supervisor covering scheduled and emergency repairs, installations, and other work to be performed in residential housing units.

Assists in installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles, relays, fuse boxes, and circuit-breaker panels in accordance with specifications and local electrical codes.

Connects power cables to equipment, such as electric range or motor, and installs grounding leads.

Performs a variety of supported duties of the job, such as loading and unloading project materials and carrying the same to a particular work area at a job site., erecting scaffolding and ladders, holding materials, tools, and supplies, cleaning the work area and removing trash and debris.

Adheres to safety policies and procedures and safe work practices.
Work Environment: Over 90% of the employee’s time will be spent working in a construction environment on residential housing developments. The employee will be exposed to a variety of weather conditions common to the local climate. The employee will be required to wear protective headgear, eyewear, ear protection and other personal protective equipment as project conditions warrant.
Minimum Qualifications:

Basic Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure.

A minimum of year experience in the electrical contracting industry.

High school diploma, relevant vocational school training, or completion of a formal apprenticeship training program.
