Communicating with clients to determine their painting requirements and helping them make the best decisions for their projects
Assembling scaffolding as required
Covering trim, floors, furniture and other surfaces with masking tape, drop cloths and other protective coverings to keep them free of paint
Setting up ventilators and other safety equipment to protect Painters from unhealthy fumes
Preparing surfaces to be painted by washing them, filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding them until they’re smooth
Applying primer and other sealers to paint surfaces to ensure that paint sticks to them
Mixing and matching paint, stain and other finishes to job specifications
Applying paint, stain and other finishes to paint surfaces using paintbrushes, rollers or sprayers
Maintaining an inventory of supplies like paint brushes, rollers and tarps
Removing old finish using scrapers, chemical compounds or blowtorches
Estimating time and material costs on painting projects
Cleaning machines, equipment and work areas using water, solvents and other cleaning aids
Reviewing and implementing work orders and assignments
Removing and reinstalling fixtures (e..g, doorknobs, electric switch covers) as necessary
Pay: $18-$25/hr (Pay will be decided upon the level of ability and skill presented. )
Hours: M-F 7:00am-4:00pm, Overtime as required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives oral instructions from Field Supervisor covering scheduled and emergency repairs, installations, and other work to be performed in residential housing units.
Assists in installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles, relays, fuse boxes, and circuit-breaker panels in accordance with specifications and local electrical codes.
Connects power cables to equipment, such as electric range or motor, and installs grounding leads.
Performs a variety of supported duties of the job, such as loading and unloading project materials and carrying the same to a particular work area at a job site., erecting scaffolding and ladders, holding materials, tools, and supplies, cleaning the work area and removing trash and debris.
Adheres to safety policies and procedures and safe work practices.
Work Environment: Over 90% of the employee’s time will be spent working in a construction environment on residential housing developments. The employee will be exposed to a variety of weather conditions common to the local climate. The employee will be required to wear protective headgear, eyewear, ear protection and other personal protective equipment as project conditions warrant.
Basic Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure.
A minimum of year experience in the electrical contracting industry.
High school diploma, relevant vocational school training, or completion of a formal apprenticeship training program.

A construction superintendent oversees the operations of a construction site, from planning to completion. The duties of a construction superintendent will vary; however, they can expect to be responsible for daily scheduling, supervising all activities and tasks, and ensuring the safety and compliance on the site.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist Project Manager in planning, scheduling, organizing, directing and controlling all construction activities from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
Oversee day-to-day field activities.
Perform daily quality control inspections.
Coordinate all construction services and activities.
Coordinate all deliveries of materials/equipment and staging of materials.
Schedule all required inspections and tests.
Responsible for all project safety inspections and reports.
Conduct on-site safety meetings and pre-conferences as necessary.
Conduct safety inspections and evaluation of work methods to mandate safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately.
Maintain clean and safe worksite.
Must have OSHA 30 Certification.
Maintain a daily job site log and issue weekly reports.
Submit coded time sheets for all site employees.
Maintain project schedule, review, and issue weekly indicating variances to Project Manager.
Manage project completion and sign-off of the punch list.

Accrued/Personal Time For every day that a technician is on call, he/she will receive 1 hour of accrued/personal time that can be used if the technician does not have 40 hrs hours of work for that week. Upon leaving employment all accrue/personal time is lost and can’t be redeemed. If a technician is on call during a holiday as stated above he/she will receive 3 hours of accrue/personal time.
Vacations All vacation time will be approved by the department manager. All vacation requests should be submitted at the beginning of the calendar year.
Upon 90 DAYS – 1 week
After 15 MONTHS – 2 weeks paid vacation
Upon FIVE years – 3 weeks paid vacation
Tool Allowance The client will allow a maximum of $2,000 for tool allowance to be purchased on the company’s account; the employee must pay $30.00 per week for every $300.00 borrowed. Every purchase must be approved prior to purchase.
