Traveling CNC Machine Operator

$36.00+/HR DOE + $125/Day Per Diem + Attendance Bonus

CraftForce is seeking experienced CNC Machine Operators for a long-term manufacturing opportunity in Jackson, Tennessee. We are looking for dependable CNC professionals with experience operating 3-axis machining centers and working with Fanuc and Haas controls. MUST BE ABLE TO SET
UP AND OPERATE. 

Compensation & Benefits

• $36.00+ per hour based on experience

• $125/day non-taxed per diem paid 7 days per week for qualified travelers

• $0.50/hour Perfect Attendance Bonus paid on every hour worked

• Weekly pay

Shift Requirements

Candidates must be willing to work:

2nd Shift

• 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

3rd Shift

• 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and set up 3-axis CNC machining centers.

• Work with Fanuc and Haas controls.

• Set machine zero points (zero offsets) and properly locate fixtures.

• Move, indicate, and align fixtures as required for production.

• Read and interpret job specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.

• Determine machine adjustments and material requirements.

• Set stops, guides, and tooling according to specifications.

• Load and unload material and workpieces safely.

• Monitor machine operation and inspect parts throughout production runs.

• Measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.

• Make minor program edits, save program changes correctly, and verify program integrity.

• Identify and troubleshoot machining issues and quality concerns.

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale using hand and power tools.

• Perform minor machine maintenance including lubrication and routine upkeep.

• Stack, mark, package, and transport finished products.

• Perform spot welding and riveting operations as required.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machining centers in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong working knowledge of Fanuc and Haas controls.

• Must be able to set zero offsets and relocate fixtures independently.

• Ability to perform machine setups and make minor program modifications.

• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings.

• Familiarity with precision measuring equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work independently and maintain production standards.

Preferred Experience

• 3-axis machining experience.

• Manufacturing and production environment experience.

• Experience with machining steel, aluminum, and fabricated components.
